Editorial & Review Policy
At The Punchline, we hold our critical output to professional standards of integrity, transparency, and independence.
Critical Independence & Access
- We accept advance screeners, review tickets, and press review copies from broadcasters, streaming platforms, PR agencies, and festival media offices.
- Access to advance materials or complimentary venue tickets never guarantees a positive review or favourable coverage.
- All editorial opinions are entirely independent and free from commercial or publicist influence.
Embargoes & Publication Timelines
- We strictly honor all press embargoes, review release dates, and broadcast timing conditions set by distributors and production houses.
- Coverage is typically published within 24 to 48 hours following the lifting of an embargo or attendance at a live performance.
Scoring & Review Standards
- Our reviews assess material on its originality, structure, delivery, and creative intent, rather than subjective personal bias alone.
- Live reviews consider the complete production, but take into account the context of preview shows versus fully polished tour sets or recorded specials.
Corrections & Contact
- We are committed to factual accuracy. In the event of a factual error regarding cast, credits, tour dates, or broadcast details, corrections will be updated promptly with a clear correction note.
- For editorial feedback or correction requests, contact
